1968

Production Equipment Magazine features a MICRO SWITCH article on “How Measurement Works in a Quality Plan.”

 

1964

MICRO SWITCH Corporation is awarded a Zero Defects Certificate of Achievement by General Dynamics.

 

1963

MICRO SWITCH catalogs for European customers now are available in German, Swedish, French and Dutch.

 

1962

An orbiting solar observatory build by Ball Bros. Research Corporation for NASA is sending back information on a broad spectral range of solar radiation. Two subminiature MICRO SWITCH components in each of three control arms indicate release and lock position status.

 

1961

The Scrap Reduction Drive is a huge success, with employees surpassing the 20% goal with a whopping 28% reduction, while increasing production 7%.

MICRO SWITCH Corporation sponsors the Junior Achievement Company.

At the push of a button, Universal Keytronic’s Mail Sorter sorts 130 pieces of mail per minute into 50 different categories. You guess it! MICRO SWITCH products were chosen because of their low operating force.

 

1960

Aerial photographs shot at 1000 MPH are made possible by the photographic and viewfinder equipment made by Chicago Aerial Industries. Twenty-three subminiature MICRO SWITCH devices withstand forces up to 15 Gs, absorb up to 150 cps vibration in 95% humidity, in temperatures ranging from 0 to 120 degrees F.
